At what age can a rottweiler puppy food to make puppies to normal eating?
I have a rottweiler puppy, that is 6 months old. She is on Bakers puppy food (which expresses up to 24 months (2 years)). I wonder at what age you can go in normal dog food, is that in 2 years or may be before?
large breed dogs develop more slowly than small and medium dogs and may take up to 2 years to develop fully, they need to stay on puppy food longer. larger dogs, such as your Rotty, must remain in his puppy food (assuming your nutrition from your food for large breed puppies) of 1 1 / 2 to 2 years instead of 1 year as smaller dogs. I changed mine when I was about 1 1 / 2, but probably should haved waited until the 2.
