Puppy housebreaking?
I have 10 week old puppy named Shasta one. It is long-haired Chihuahua 2:01, and 2.1 Mini-Pin. Your dominant race Chihuahua. I Litter Box Training'm her the instructions that they be kept in a kennel during the day after at work, big enough for her litterbox, bed and bed. It has a bottle of water hanging on the side. They fed about 7 clock, clock 02.30 and again at 20.30 clock. You know very well around the litterbox was, but ask, what am I her , Show a larger area while I was in graduate work (6-7 Clock). I just run free down our bathroom. Advice? I feed only when I, at home am.
Hi, When is your new puppy "home alone" while on the job, I think you probably have done the same thing all the time for you to and offer to train their puppies. The catch is, puppytraining and burglary are the same, but different. Your first approach is OK, but the little dog needs a lot of attention, on the part requires your patience. In my experience, break a puppy is fairly easy, but the conditions for good results are time, patience and consistency. For example, on weekends, when you have more free time on this aspect of their "focus puppytraining" to encourage them to drink plenty of water. At the first hint to their "search for a place" to pick up and carry them outside for a few minutes (the grass). It will either go or not. If not, take them back in, but deliberately be that it will not take long to go before they must lead such a careful eye on them and repeat this as many times as necessary. It will not be long until they "" Gets the idea. A cautionary note: Never scold her "after the fact." You need to "catch them in the act." If you are to catch them, Before she leaves, you take them out. If you catch her in the act, clap your hands (again) and say NO!, And take her outside (just one or two minutes). If you catch them after the fact, if you scold her, she will not have any idea why you are dissatisfied with it. Trust me on this issue. After she drinks water, spending time play with her, keeps a close eye, and you'll soon be able to pick up their signals. Be gentle and be consistent. These are the key to a successful and loving companion. I wish you good luck. John
